Dancing with the Stars eliminated Debbie Gibson and her professional partner Alan Bersten during Tuesday night's broadcast of the series' 25th season on ABC.

Debbie, a singer and songwriter, and Alan became the second couple ousted from the competition based on the combination of Dancing with the Stars judges' scores they had received during Monday night's performance show and the home viewer votes that were cast immediately afterwards.

"This show, in this short amount of time, and this guy right here, I feel like I got my life back. I am so thrilled and we're going to keep dancing, how about that?! Dance lessons!" Debbie said in her final words.

Debbie and Alan had finished in a three-way tie for eighth place on the judges' leaderboard on Monday night's show when Barbara Corcoran was sent packing with pro Keo Motsepe.

TV personality and 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey and partner Peta Murgatroyd were the other couple in jeopardy of elimination prior to Debbie and Alan's exit, but they were not necessarily one of the bottom-two couples based on the judges' scores and America's votes this week.

Tuesday night's episode, dubbed "Latin Night," featured Debbie, Nick and the 10 other celebrities each taking the stage once with a sexy routine alongside his or her pro partner for Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli.

Actor and racecar driver Frankie Muniz and partner Witney Carson topped the judges' leaderboard in first place after receiving a total of 25 out of 30 possible points -- including the first nine of the season, from Bruno -- for their cha cha performance.

Internationally-recognized violinist Lindsey Stirling and fellow celebrity Jordan Fisher, a singer and actor, tied for second place on the leaderboard with 24 points.

Lindsey and partner Mark Ballas danced the salsa, while Jordan and partner Lindsay Arnold performed a samba routine.

TV personality Vanessa Lachey and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy claimed fourth place on the leaderboard after earning 23 points from the judges.

Fifth place went to Pretty Little Liars actress Sasha Pieterse and partner Gleb Savchenko. The pair walked away from the night with 22 points from the judges after taking the stage with a samba.

Sixth place turned out to be a tie between Debbie and Property Brothers star Drew Scott. Debbie and Alan earned 21 points for their Argentine tango, while Drew and partner Emma Slater danced a 21-point worthy rumba.

On their heels were former Paralympic swimmer Victoria Arlen and partner Val Chmerkovskiy -- who danced the rumba -- in eighth place with 20 points.

Three celebrities tied for ninth place with their respective pro partners at 19 points on the leaderboard: Nick and Peta, former NBA star and coach Derek Fisher, and former NFL football wide receiver and six-time Pro Bowler Terrell Owens.

Nick and Peta danced the Argentine tango, Derek and partner Sharna Burgess performed the paso doble, and Terrell and partner Cheryl Burke took the stage with a samba number.

WWE wrestler and Total Divas star Nikki Bella and partner Artem Chigvintsev finished in twelfth -- and last -- place on the leaderboard after receiving only 18 points for their samba routine from the judges.
