Tinashe and Brandon were sent packing based on the combination of home viewer votes from last Monday night's show as well as the scores provided by Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli last night.

"Brandon, you actually said it, that sometimes the best dancers go," Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron told Brandon after announcing the shocking results.

"Yeah, it has to be the whole package. I'm super proud of Tinashe. She did amazing this season," said Brandon, who landed towards the top of the judges' leaderboard each week with his celebrity partner.

"Brandon did amazing. His first season, so good!" Tinashe interjected.

"It was an amazing first season. Thank you for the opportunity," Brandon noted.

The other couple in jeopardy of elimination prior to Tinashe and Brandon's exit was actress and Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch and partner Keo Motsepe; however, they were not necessarily the other bottom-two couple based on judges' scores and America votes.
