CMT has announced the development of Prankville, a new Punk'd-like reality series that will feature a country twist.
Each half-hour installment of the six-episode series, which is scheduled to premiere in May, shows viewers good-natured, practical jokes caught by CMT's hidden cameras.
Prankville is produced by Adam Dolgins and Frank Gregory of Fractured Hip Productions.
In addition to Prankville , CMT has announced the development of several new series and specials: CMT Diary, Opening Act, America's Top Cowboy, Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, Bandits vs. Smokies, and Born Country; as well as the return of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team for a second season, Trick My Truck for a third season and Country Fried Home Videos for a third season.
