Club Paris nightclub fires 'The Simple Life' star Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton's name is being dropped from a Florida nightclub that she hardly ever goes to.

Club Paris will still be Club Paris, but the name will refer to the city in France -- rather than the American playgirl who had lent her name to the joint when it opened two years ago - the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Owner Fred Khalilian told the newspaper he was irked not only at Hilton's lack of presence at the club, but also the sometimes-unflattering coverage she gets in the celebrity media.
"She's created a circus for herself," he said, adding that he'll look for a "new American princess" to act as the image for his club.
Hilton's camp had no immediate comment on Khalilian's move, the Sentinel said.
