VH1 was has announced the premiere of Celebrity Fit Club's fifth season, which for the first time will be a battle of the sexes as the men take-on the women to see which gender can shape-up the fastest.  Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 22 at 9PM ET/PT.

With not even one of the eight cast members more than 40 pounds overweight, Celebrity Fit Club's fifth season will be less about shedding the weight and more about living a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable.  Returning for the reality weight-loss competition's fifth season will be "drill sergeant" Harvey Walden IV as well as nutritional and diet expert Dr. Ian Smith and host Ant.  Celebrity Fit Club 5 will feature a new psychotherapist, Dr. Stacy Kaiser.

The eight participants competing on Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women are: former The Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick; former Saved by the Bell nerd Dustin Diamond; former pop star Tiffany; country-music artist Cledus T. Judd; hip-hop artist Da Brat; The Tonight Show's Ross "The Intern" Matthews; American Idol 2 finalist Kimberly Locke; and rapper Warren G.

Similar to past seasons of Celebrity Fit Club, Men vs. Women will see the cast divided into groups of four, however for the fifth installment they'll be divided by gender.  In each hour-long episode, the teams will be given different physical challenges and will work together to reach their own fitness goals.

Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women is a production of Granada Entertainment and VH1. Richard Hall is executive producer and Tim Eagan is co-executive producer for Granada. Michael Hirschorn, Jim Ackerman, Matt Hanna and Caroline Perez are executive producers for VH1.
