CBS has announced that due to Survivor: Palau's premiere on February 17, Wickedly Perfect, the domestic diva search reality series that has been occupying CBS's Thursday night time period while Survivor is between editions, will move to Saturday evenings beginning February 19.

Given the rapidly approaching conclusion of its currently airing The Amazing Race 6 series, it had been speculated that CBS might move Wickedly Perfect into The Amazing Race's Tuesday time period for the balance of its ten-episode run. However, as a result of the network's plans (just announced today) to debut the seventh edition of The Amazing Race on Tuesday, March 1, moving Wickedly into The Amazing Race's time period was obviously not an option.

Instead, as part of last week's Survivor: Palau premiere announcement, CBS announced that Wickedly Perfect would be exiled to the Saturday 8-9PM ET/PT time period originally intended for The Amazing Race 6 and most recently occupied by The Will -- CBS's other new reality series which it yanked from the air following one low-rated episode broadcast.

Wickedly Perfect stumbled out of the gate in its attempt to carry the Thursday night torch until Survivor returns. Its January 5 premiere drew only 9.36 million viewers, a 6.5/10 rating/share in households, a 2.9/8 in Adults 18-49, a 3.4/8 in Adults 25-54, and a 4.6/11 in Women 25-54 -- a modest performance that represented less than half the number of viewers who typically tune in to the network's Survivor broadcasts.
