Well this news must gnaw at self-described "working actor" and latest Big Brother 5 ejectee Jase Wirey. CBS has announced that beginning tonight, it will launch this season's "America's Choice" viewer voting polls with a prize that several of the entertainment career-seeking houseguests will no doubt salivate over -- a walk-on role on CBS's long-running The Young And The Restless soap opera.

Opening at 9PM ET/PT tonight and running until Saturday, August 21 at midnight ET, this season's inaugural "America's Choice" poll will allow Big Brother viewers to determine which houseguest will be blindfolded and transported from the Big Brother house to the set of The Young And The Restless. Once on the set, the selected real-life schemer will appear in scenes set at the Genoa City Athletic Club with actors Michelle Stafford and Christian LeBlanc, who play two of the soap's biggest fictional schemers, Phyllis and Michael.

CBS will reveal the "America's Choice" winner on the Thursday, August 26 live show, in which the houseguests will also get to view the episode and critique the winner's performance. Big Brother viewers will get their own chance to see the program in its entirety when the scenes appear in The Young And The Restless' Monday, August 30 broadcast.

The Young And The Restless', winner of the 2004 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Drama, has been the top-rated rated daytime drama for the past 15 years and recently celebrated its 31st anniversary. The show airs weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM ET, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television.
