The former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was granted a restraining order on Tuesday which orders Dimitri to stay 100 yards away from her as well as her two children Mason Olivia Grammer and Jude Gordon Grammer, Hollywood Life reported.

In addition, Camille wants Dimitri arrested and prosecuted for the alleged assault and has filed a formal complaint with the Houston Police Department, according to TMZ.

The incident reportedly occurred on October 16 when Camille was recovering from having surgery for endometrial cancer in a hotel room in Houston.

Dimitri's cell phone allegedly rang at 1:30AM, and it was a call from a woman who was yelling on the other end of the phone, which sparked an argument between Camille and Dimitri.

"I was recuperating in my bed when he hit me. I just got out of a major surgery. I was completely vulnerable. He was suppose to be there to take care of me, comfort me, bring me food. I still wake up in the middle of the night with this vision in my head of being hit. I am still in shock. This is the man who said he loved me," Camille told Hollywood Life.

During their fight, Dimitri, 35, allegedly attacked Camille for about 40 minutes, grabbing her by the hair and slamming her head into the bed's headboard. He reportedly ripped a clump of her hair out and also tried to suffocate her by covering her mouth and nose with his hand.

"He wrestled me on the hotel bed, repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture and completely immobilizing me," Camille reportedly wrote in her police report. Dimitri also allegedly told her, "I wanna smash your head in. I'll give you a reason to call the cops."

According to Hollywood Life, Camille, 45, attempted to call for help but he quickly smashed her mobile phone.

Dimitri then allegedly unplugged all the phones in the room and told her if she tried to move, he'd knock her out. Camille reportedly ran to the lobby after waiting for about three minutes after Dimitri left the room, and a hotel employee she found called the police.

TMZ reported Dimitri wasn't arrested on the day of the incident because he left the hotel by the time the police arrived and he's currently residing in Dallas, TX.

Camille was reportedly hesitant to share her story of abuse and violence at first, but now she's working through her issues and is "healthy and happy."

"I want to encourage women everywhere to speak up for themselves when it comes to domestic violence and abuse. I'm hanging in there and I feel strong. At first when it happened, I wasn't going to say anything. However, after talking to my therapist she encouraged me to speak up," Camille told Hollywood Life.

"She told me me, 'You need to use your voice. You are stronger than you know.' Domestic violence is an epidemic and there are too many silent women suffering. They are afraid to speak up. I have to speak up for my own recovery. I want to empower other women. I want women to know there is NO excuse to hit a women... I had to speak up because if not it leads to denial, and something like this never gets better, only worse."

Authorities are currently investigating the case and interviewing witnesses, according to TMZ.
