Briana DeJesus has denied Javi Marroquin's recent announcement that the pair are dating.

"Nothing is going on," the Teen Mom 2 star told E! News, while her representative added that Briana and Javi are "just friends."

However, Javi told People earlier this week that his relationship with Briana is "official," and a source told Us Weekly that the pair are in fact dating.

Javi recently posted a photo of Briana and himself on Instagram with the hashtag "#BAE," and on October 25, he told Radar Online, "It's amazing with Bri and me."

Javi had insisted his alleged romance with Briana took a serious turn when they reunited for the taping of Teen Mom 2's reunion special in Los Angeles and revealed they had been friends for a while and aren't in a rush.

Oddly enough, as of Friday morning, Briana's Instagram and Twitter profile photos are both pictures of Javi and herself together, and the pair had been sharing sweet photos of each on social media for weeks prior.

But Briana deleted most of her pictures on Instagram this week, including ones with the Air Force member. Also, in a since-deleted tweet from Wednesday, the MTV reality star wrote, "Really about to change my number and go ghost cause this is unreal."

Dating rumors about Briana and the Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars participant began to swirl last month when the duo was spotted having dinner in New York City and taking a trip to Disney World together along with their kids.

Briana has two daughters -- Nova, 6, with ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin, and Stella, 3 months, with ex-boyfriend Luis Hernandez.

Javi shares three-year-old son Lincoln with his ex-wife Kailyn Lowry, who also stars on Teen Mom 2 and currently appears on Marriage Boot Camp with him. Javi also fills the stepdad role to Isaac, who is Kailyn's son from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera.

It seems Briana's relationship with Javi -- or lack thereof -- has sparked some tension between co-stars.

Kailyn recently took to Twitter with a cryptic message, writing, "Lmao don't sh-t where you eat."

Assuming the tweet was aimed at Briana, one fan replied, "Btw they should be thanking Briana because if they had to get a 5th mom for the show the ratings must have been down!"

Kailyn then responded, "Actually now that she's on they went down lol. If it isn't broken, don't fix it."

Kailyn and her ex, however, seem to be in a healthy place. They're writing a book together called He Said She Said, and earlier this month, Javi posted a photo of himself kissing Kailyn on the cheek. Javi wrote in the caption that they're both happy and doing a good job of raising the kids.

Kailyn also told Us this month that she doesn't concern herself with whom Javi may or may not be dating.

"I don't care," Kailyn said of Javi's love life. "I like to know who's around my kids, but when it comes down to it, that's the only thing I care about."

Despite apparent drama between Briana and Kailyn, Briana assured her fans on Twitter that she will not be quitting Teen Mom 2.
