Bravo has announced The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been picked up for an eighth season.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which launched in 2008 and averaged almost four million total viewers per episode last season, will return this fall.

In addition, the franchise will be airing its 100th episode as a one-hour special on Sunday, July 12 at 8PM ET/PT. The Real Housewives of Atlanta: 100th Episode Watch What Happens Live Special will take viewers on a trip down memory lane and relive the series' most unforgettable, dramatic and buzzed-about moments.

In the special, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen will also conduct candid interviews with former and current Housewives to see how the show has affected their lives.

The Housewives who will be featured in Episode 100 include Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Claudia Jordan, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Deshawn Snow, Porsha Williams and Kim Zolciak Biermann. Besides reflecting on the past, they'll also share new and untold stories,

Leading up to the special, Bravo will air fan-favorite episodes, repeats and reunion shows throughout the week of July 6.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta: 100th Episode Watch What Happens Live Special is being produced by Embassy Row with Cohen, Michael Davies and Deirdre Connolly serving as executive producers.

The upcoming eighth edition of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is produced by True Entertainment and executive produced by Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton, John Paparazzo, Luke Neslage and Bianca Barnes Williams.
