Bobbi Kristina Brown's publicist says the only child of the late Whitney Houston and U.S. singer Bobby Brown is not engaged to a man raised as her brother.
TMZ last week quoted an unnamed Houston family source as confirming Brown and Gordon are living together as a couple in Atlanta.
The insider also said Cissy Houston, Brown's maternal grandmother, was upset by the development, which she allegedly described as "incestuous."
But Brown's publicist told People.com Monday the pair are not engaged.
"She is just wearing her mom's ring," another source close to Brown told People.com.Brown's representative did not address whether Brown and Gordon are dating, however.
Gordon, who began living at Whitney Houston's home a decade ago when his mother couldn't properly care for him, also has denied being engaged to Bobbi Kristina.
