The players were then invited to enter "The White Locust" resort outside, where drinks and food awaited them.
During the party, the "Mastermind" appeared and kicked off his "Month of Mayhem." He revealed that the player would tested that evening and one person would be evicted from the Big Brother house -- and become the first member of the jury -- in a matter of hours.
"Just like in the Big Brother house, your competition skills could save you or your social game will be the key to your salvation... All of you can check into The White Locust, but one of you won't be checking out," the Mastermind revealed.
Former Big Brother player Tyler Crispen then appeared and shared how one houseguest could earn his or her safety and survive The White Locust.
In attempt to save their lives in the game, they were required to compete one at a time. They had to press a button to start the clock and then slide one totem down each of three tables, landing it in each of the green zones.
Once a totem landed in each zone, the player could press his or her button and lock in a time.
The houseguest to land all three totems in the fastest time would win.
After Ava Pearl won and earned herself safety for the night, Tyler explained that the Mastermind required a sacrifice. Ava was asked to choose a houseguest to compete for safety by navigating a disk through a maze called the "Mastermind's Maniacal Maze." in 6.5 minutes.
If successful, that player would get to decide the next houseguest to attempt the maze, but with one less minute than the player before.
The first player in the chain to not succeed in the maze would become the sacrifice and be eliminated from the house entirely.

After each round, the houseguests would be given about 10 minutes to strategize. The later a person competed, the more likely it would be that he or she would go home.
Rachel said she wanted to go first so that she could win and ensure that "The Judges" alliance would maintain control in the house. She also wanted to ensure that Keanu Soto went last.
But Ava didn't want to pick Rachel or Keanu, and so she picked Vince Panaro first.
Vince's closest allies were Lauren Domingue and Morgan Pope, and so he did everything in his power to keep them in the game.
Vince therefore selected Lauren to compete, and then Lauren picked Morgan Pope to run the maze, just as Vince had asked them to do.
Morgan also saved herself, and then she selected Rachel to do the maze. Morgan was confident that Rachel could complete the maze within 3.5 minutes.

Tyler looked shocked from the sidelines, and the rest of the houseguests were also taken aback by Rachel's elimination. Vince and Ashley Hollis were among the most surprised houseguests.
Rachel cried to Tyler that she "tried so hard" but "none of these newbies ever listened" to her.

Rachel later expressed in the Big Brother Diary Room, "I'm really disappointed in myself. Big Brother has meant so much to me. I met my husband on the show, I have two beautiful kids because of it. I'm a winner of the game. I'm a legend."
Rachel lamented about how she felt she had let everyone down.
Before heading to the jury house, Rachel confronted her fellow houseguests.
"Don't think I'm going to make your jury roundtable easy because that's what you want," Rachel announced.
"You're going to have to work to win this game. You're going to have to fight and get blood on your hands, because I did -- and I've done it three times now. So don't think that you can show up in those Final 2 chairs and I'm going to let you guys get off easy."
Rachel told the cast that if they wanted to become a legend like her, they'd have to "work for it and earn it."
Rachel quipped, "Newbies, clap! Because the legend and the queen is leaving!"
Keanu said he wanted to be sitting in the Final 2 chairs with Keanu and so he was really disappointed. Cliffton "Will" Williams also never saw this coming.
