Matt McDonald has been arrested by Boston police and charged with assault and battery after he allegedly attacked his pregnant fiance, TMZ reported Friday.

Boston police arrested McDonald after his fiance arrived at a local police station to file a complaint against him, according to TMZ, which added the unidentified woman is eight-weeks pregnant with his baby.

The fiance claims that she and McDonald began arguing after he accused her of infidelity.

The argument allegedly turned physical, as she accused him of strangling her and yelling, "I hope the baby dies and hope u [sic] have a miscarriage," according to a copy of the police report obtained by TMZ.

In addition, McDonald allegedly called the victim's father on the telephone during the confrontation and threatened to kill him if he alerted authorities.

Police observed visible bruising on the fiance's arms, neck and collarbone, according to TMZ, leading to the arrest and charges.

The 26-year-old from Charlestown, MA is due back in court next month, TMZ reported, adding that the fiance did not lose the baby.

McDonald's arrest comes several months after Big Brother ninth-season winner Adam Jasinski was arrested in October after flying to Boston and attempting to sell drugs to a Drug Enforcement Administration witness.

He was charged with possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute and is currently attending a Westboro, MA rehab center, which he recently requested to be released from so he can instead live with his parents.
