CBS has announced the fifteenth season of Big Brother will get an early start this year and premiere with a one-hour episode on Wednesday, June 26 at 9PM ET/PT.

The earlier debut -- Big Brother editions usually premiere a couple of weeks later in early July -- will result in "a longer edition" than previous years, according to the network.

Big Brother's fifteenth-season episodes are going to air will also be slightly different schedule from seasons past. The show will air Sundays at 8PM ET/PT beginning on June 30, Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT starting on July 2 and Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT -- which will serve as the weekly live eviction show -- beginning on July 3.

However, once the network's still-untitled American edition of the UK's The Great British Bake Off reality competition concludes in early July, Big Brother's live eviction show will move up an hour and air Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT beginning July 17.

Last season, CBS aired Big Brother's Summer 2012 broadcasts on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with Thursday night featuring the live evictions.

The network had announced it had renewed Big Brother for another season back in September.

Big Brother is produced by Endemol USA with Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan serving as executive producers.
