Big Brother's houseguests voted to evict Rachel Swindler from the game, and then a new Head of Household was crowned, during Thursday night's live Season 20 broadcast on CBS.

Rachel, a 29-year-old Vegas entertainer from Myrtle Beach, SC, who currently resides in Las Vegas, NV, was evicted from the Big Brother house through a 5-4 vote instead of Brett Robinson, a 25-year-old cyber-security engineer from Oakdale, CT, who currently resides in Charlestown, MA.

"I'm completely blindsided right now. I don't even know. I really don't know what happened," Rachel told Big Brother host Julie Chen in tears during her post-eviction interview after storming out of the house without hugging or saying goodbye to anyone.

"I was told by [Head of Household Bayleigh Dayton] that I was going to be the pawn. This is really confusing for me. I was told... Brett's the target and everyone told me I was okay the entire time by my alliance members and the entire other side of the house... and [Angela Rummans] double crossed me... I hope Level 6 doesn't win. Screw them."

Rachel received votes from the following houseguests: Angela, Kaycee Clark, Tyler Crispen, Sam Bledsoe, JC Mounduix.

And Brett earned eviction votes from Angie "Rockstar" Lantry, Scottie Salton, Faysal Shafaat, and Haleigh Broucher.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 41, with both Brett and Rachel -- two of Tyler's "Level 6" alliance members -- on the chopping block after Tyler decided not to use the Power of Veto.

Rachel cried about being on the block next to her good friend but figured Brett was the real target, while Brett was confident he was going to stay.

Tyler officially proved to Bayleigh that he was loyal, but in reality, Tyler had no problem nominating her for eviction. Tyler just wanted Bayleigh's Power App to be gone and then he wouldn't care about her place in the game.

Kaycee said Rachel "freaked out a little too much" and Level 6 needed to keep solid players around. Brett also warned Tyler that if he went home, he'd no longer serve as a shield for the other strong men in the house and the women would have the numbers.

Tyler therefore wanted Rachel gone, especially since she had been throwing his name under the bus, so he made it a point to campaign on Brett's behalf.

Meanwhile, Scottie believed he had five votes to get rid of Brett with Haleigh, Faysal, Rockstar and Tyler onboard.

Brett then hopped in Haleigh's hammock outside and Faysal got very jealous, but Haleigh insisted she was "100 percent not a thing" with Faysal. Faysal began questioning where Haleigh was at on a personal level, but also where she stood on a game level due to the amount of time she was spending with Brett.

At the live eviction, when Brett made his final plea to stay, he announced that Rachel had informed him of Bayleigh's Power App that gives her an ability to change the nominations next week. Brett also accused Rachel of being in an all-girls "Maneaters" alliance, minus Sam.

Brett therefore warned the guys in the house to take that into considering when casting their next vote.

Once Rachel was evicted from the Big Brother house through a 5-4 vote and she learned her whole alliance had betrayed her -- including her best friend Angela -- it became time for the season's next Head of Household competition.

All of the houseguests were eligible to compete in the competition except for the outgoing HoH, Bayleigh.

Dubbed "GIF That Keeps On Giving," Julie asked the players a series of true or false questions about GIFs they had studied earlier on. The houseguest to answer the most questions correctly would become the new HoH.

The competition came down to Rockstar and Angela with a tie-breaker question. They were asked how many seconds it took Tyler to hit the ground in the "Out On a Limb" competition starting from the beginning of the competition, and Angela's guess of 3,000 seconds was closer.

As a result, Angela is the new Head of Household.

At the end of the episode, Julie announced a new twist in the game called "Hacker Comp." Each week, a player will win the power to "secretly hack the game."

"How will the BB hacker shake up the house? It all starts on Sunday," Julie revealed.
