'Big Brother 3' scores highest Thursday ratings

CBS has announced that the August 22nd edition of 'Big Brother 3 Thursday' (6.2/11, 9.64m) had it's best delivery of the summer in households, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 -- and was first in adults 25-54, boomers, men 25-54, women 25-54 and 18-49 and second in households, viewers and adults 18-34. The episode grew at 8:30 PM, up +5% in households, +21% in adults 18-34, +15% in adults 18-49, +11% in adults 25-54 and added 390,000 viewers (9.83m from 9.44m).

In related news, the August 24th episode of 'Big Brother 3 Saturday' (3.9/8, 5.69m) was first households, viewers, women 25-54, adults 25-54 (tie) and adults 18-34 and second in boomers. The episode was also the highest rated program of the night among adults 18-34. Compared to the same time period last year, BB3S was up +5% in households, +37% in boomers, +56% in adults 25-54, +33% in women 25-54, +64% in adults 18-49, and +133% in adults 18-34.
