ABC has announced former The Bachelorette fifth-season star Jillian Harris will join Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's design team when the eighth season of the reality series airs this fall.

In addition to Harris, former Pimp My Ride host Xzibit and interior designer Leigh Anne Tuohy -- who was portrayed by Sandra Bullock in the film The Blind Side -- will be joining the eighth-season design team, which will also feature returning members Ty Pennington, with Paul DiMeo, Paige Hemmis, Michael Moloney, Ed Sanders, Tracy Hutson, Eduardo Xol and John Littlefield.

Harris -- who is currently engaged to her selected The Bachelorette suitor Ed Swiderski -- previously served as a "Get On the Bus" celebrity volunteer during an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition seventh-season episode which aired in March.

"I have been an adoring fan of the series for years and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing team. I feel so blessed to be a part of this project with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Because of the constant love I receive from my family, friends, and now fans, I have always felt like my heart was just bursting with love and hope for others in need," said Harris when ABC announced her guest appearance.

"I couldn't think of a better place or a better way to give back; to give love, support, and hope. I really feel like the world needs a lot of love right now, and to be a part of this and see others give their time and love so generously, it is truly inspiring."

At the time, a source told RadarOnline that Harris "would love a more full-time gig" with the show.

Similar to Harris, Xzibit and Tuohy also served as seventh-season "Get On the Bus" celebrity volunteers.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition eighth-season episodes will air on Sundays at 8PM ET/PT this fall on ABC.
