Jeremy Anderson was the perfect guy -- just not the perfect guy for DeAnna Pappas.

The 30-year-old real estate attorney from Dallas, TX failed to received a rose from DeAnna during last night's penultimate The Bachelorette fourth-season broadcast on ABC.

"I didn't see that coming.  I didn't see it coming," opined Jeremy after his ouster.  "I knew what I was looking for.  It's that look you get from someone.  It's that look you want to get.  It's the feeling you get when you hold their hand.  It's a million different things, and she had it all."

"I always wanted to truly fall in love with someone, I really did.  I really did fall in love with her," he continued.  "I don't want to lose another person that I care about.  That's it.  Plain and simple.  I just don't want to lose another person that I love.  I don't know what I do from here."

The Bachelorette's seventh fourth-season episode began with DeAnna preparing to leave for Grand Bahama Island, where she would spend some quality time with each of her three remaining suitors.  However DeAnna was still having a hard time following the previous elimination of Graham Bunn, whom she still cut despite "falling in love" with.

"I am confused.  I do not know how this is going to end," said DeAnna.  "Everything is up in the air to this point because of Graham."

Jeremy was the first suitor who would have an opportunity to spend time with DeAnna in the Bahamas, and she noted how he's been "really serious" the last two times they've seen each other and she's hoping he's able to "cut loose and have fun."

They traveled on a boat to a small island and rode jet skis in the water, however Jeremy was bothered by the fact that he still hadn't quite figured out how to tell DeAnna what he's feeling for her.  As if on cue, a deafening and awkward silence developed between them as they picnicked.

"It seemed like he was holding back on me a little bit today," commented DeAnna.  "Now that Graham's gone, it's like Jeremy's pulling back.  That's the whole reason I got rid of Graham -- because he couldn't open up to me."

That night DeAnna and Jeremy went to dinner, and Jeremy knew the importance of letting DeAnna know how he really felt about her.  However once again all he managed were some poorly placed giggles.  DeAnna asked Jeremy if he was nervous and while he answered no it was clear that he was and she implored him to be more comfortable.

He subsequently admitted it was the "most nervous" he'd been since the first time he met her. Jeremy further explained he was "afraid to love her" because he hasn't even won her heart yet and thus didn't want to get hurt.  However he was still able to muster a line that seemingly worked wonders in his favor.

"I want to tell you that I'm falling in love with you, but it's already happened," he said, and the two kissed.

"It's just a huge weight off my shoulders to be able to tell DeAnna exactly how I'm feeling, that I am falling in love with her," he said in a confessional.  "I feel like I can finally take the next step with her... DeAnna's the first woman to make me feel this way, my heart is about to jump out of my chest.  At this point, my dream is that I'm down on one knee, with a ring, proposing to DeAnna."

DeAnna then presented Jeremy with the Fantasy Suite Card, and he accepted.

"Things with Jeremy just keep getting better and better and better," said DeAnna.  "He's incredible and he's perfect and I'd be lucky to spend the rest of my life with him."

The next day DeAnna spent time with Jason Mesnick, a 31-year-old account executive from Kirkland, WA.  After traveling to Jason's hometown and meeting his 3-year-old son Ty, DeAnna was hoping to see the "exciting, fun side" of the single dad.  They went off-road jeeping and DeAnna was glad Jason wasn't playing it safe.

They had a picnic in the jungle surrounded by water and vegetation, and Jason said he and DeAnna "really felt like a couple" because they had "so much fun and so much in common."

"It was a totally different kind of romantic," commented DeAnna.  "Like it was just the two of us there.  No one else mattered."

They had a good time kayaking, and Jason was also appreciating the time spent with DeAnna.

"The whole day has helped me fall in love with DeAnna more," he gushed.

The night they enjoyed dinner as DeAnna said her feelings for Jason were intensifying.  Similar to how it had been during the day, conversation continued to flow pretty easily between the two.  DeAnna brought up Ty, and Jason said he'd rather get to know DeAnna better instead of talking about his son.

"The two most important subjects in my life, without a doubt," said Jason about DeAnna and Ty, a comment that she appreciated.

They kissed and she presented him with the Fantasy Suite Card, which he accepted before he even finished reading.  Jason then gave DeAnna a necklace and thanked her for something that he said hadn't happened to him in a long time.

"Thank you for teaching me that I can fall in love again... because I'm falling in love," he said.

"I'm falling for Jason.  I could definitely see myself spending my life with Jason," said DeAnna in a confessional.  "Everything just kind of fell into place -- went perfectly.  The more I could picture myself marrying him, the harder it is to think about making a decision at the next Rose Ceremony."

DeAnna's final date in the Bahamas was with Jesse Csincsak, a 25-year-old professional snowboarder from Breckenridge, CO.  DeAnna said she's had "continuously changing" feelings for Jesse -- especially since the first time they kissed was only on the recently held hometown date.  Jesse commented that he was scared since he was falling for DeAnna and didn't want to be sent home.

The two went horseback riding on the beach and in the water, which DeAnna thought was "extremely romantic" and led to the first of numerous kisses they would share on the date.

As they sat down for a picnic, DeAnna asked why it took so long for Jesse to be romantic with her.  Jesse explained that he's a firm believer that you have to be friends first before you can be romantic -- because if you can't be friends, you can't date.  The explanation made sense, and DeAnna said she found herself wanting to be around Jesse more and more as time goes on.  They kissed in the ocean.

"I would have never expected to like him this much," said DeAnna.  "I would never have expected to want to spend so much time with him... Today, I was just completely giddy about Jesse."

Hoping to continue the romance that persisted throughout the day, Jesse and DeAnna settled down for dinner.  Jesse had some serious questions for DeAnna, and began by asking her when she'd be interested in having kids.  While she answered "before 30" she added she has no set plan, and her response fit well with Jesse also wanting children at a young age.

Jesse then moved onto the all important question of the living situation since he likes to live in the cold three months out of the year due to his snowboarding.

DeAnna acknowledged that did scare her a little but realized how important snowboarding is to him.  To reassure her, Jesse said that he's been weaning himself off boarding and was looking to get his priorities straightened out with a career in sports management.  Jesse then made his move.

"I'm falling for you so hard, and it's so hard for me to say that," he told her.  "But I am.  I am."

DeAnna then presented Jesse with the Fantasy Suite Card.

"I don't know if I can until I meet your dad," said Jesse.

"Are you for real!?" asked DeAnna.

"I'm just kidding," he replied, and they both had a good laugh before retreating to the suite.

"I would definitely say that I'm falling in love with DeAnna very quickly," said Jesse.

The next evening DeAnna met Jeremy, Jason and Jesse for The Bachelorette's penultimate fourth-season Rose Ceremony.

"I'm sick to my stomach to know that I'm going to break someone's heart tonight," said DeAnna.  "I care about all three of you and I have to send one of you home.  This is not easy for me and I want you to know that my heart is breaking right now."

DeAnna then presented roses to Jesse and Jason, giving Jeremy the boot.  He couldn't make eye contact with her after the decision was made, and she asked if she could walk him out.

"Jeremy you are perfect," said DeAnna.  "I would have been the luckiest woman in the world, and I'm stupid for sending you home.  Me and you share a bond that I don't share with any of the other guys... I just didn't want to confuse that bond with being in love.  I want you to know that I meant everything that I said."

"I know you did," replied Jeremy.  "But I'm hurt.  I don't think that I've ever had my heart broken like this.  I'm in love with you, there's no doubt about that.  Today could potentially be one of the worst days I've ever had."

"I'm so sorry," said DeAnna, who then walked Jeremy to the awaiting limousine.

The Bachelorette's two-hour finale broadcast -- in which Jesse and Jason will travel to DeAnna's hometown -- will air next Monday at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.  Immediately after the finale broadcast, ABC will air The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose.
