Bachelor in Paradise's Season 6 finale featured a shocking breakup on the beach, three romantic and emotional engagements, updates on the happy -- or not so happy -- couples from Paradise, the announcement of the next The Bachelor star, and so much more!

The Bachelor in Paradise finale began with the four remaining couples enjoying overnight Fantasy Suite dates.

The four couples were Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour, Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski, Clay Harbor and Nicole Lopez-Alvar, and Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty.

Hannah and Nicole both said they were ready to get engaged to their significant others, while Demi couldn't wait to show Kristian how much she loved her.

However, Katie was still trying to figure out whether her relationship with Chris was right in her heart.

Katie had "no clarity" as to where Chris stood with her, but he explained it takes time for him to open up. Chris insisted he cared about Katie a lot and was falling in love with her.

Chris said he was excited to show Katie he wouldn't falter, and he gushed about being excited for their night ahead as well as their future together. Katie melted while listening to Chris' words.

"That feeling I was looking for, I just got it," Katie told the cameras.

Dylan was then shown telling Hannah that he was "insanely in love" with her but needed to know what exactly she was feeling before taking that "next step" with her.

Hannah said she wanted their families to be included in such a special moment, meaning their engagement, but she absolutely wanted to "continue forever" with him and was totally ready.

Demi then told Kristian that she felt undeniably herself, and Kristian gushed about how she wanted Demi to be her life partner. Kristian never thought living with a woman would be possible, but she said Demi had changed her life.

"I'm so in love with you," Demi told Kristian before kissing her.

Nicole felt Clay had changed her life in a month, in a good way, but Clay said there were still some things they needed to cover. Nicole agreed that she wanted to feel 100 percent confident in what they had.

"I told you I'm starting to fall in love with you, and that's true. And in my last relationship, I could never say that at any point," Clay told Nicole. "I just want you to know I still have reservations and I don't think it would be fair if I didn't tell you that."

Nicole asked Clay what was holding him back, and he explained it wouldn't be right to make Nicole uproot her life and come live with him if he's not 100 percent confident in their future together.

Nicole, however, said if she moved, it would be because she wanted to -- and Clay wouldn't have to feel guilty about that.

"I'm not 100 percent ready for a proposal. I'm not 100 percent ready to move in together. I think we have more to explore," Clay said.

Nicole was concerned because Clay was suddenly bringing up a lot of doubts.

"You've never ever made me feel unsure about our relationship until this very moment. Now that the end is near and you are faced with this decision, you're backing out," Nicole told Clay.

Clay acknowledged he had bad experiences in the past because he wasn't able to say exactly what he was feeling. He was therefore trying to be as open and transparent as possible, but he said he wanted to spend the night figuring things out with Nicole.

Nicole got really upset and gave Clay space, saying the Fantasy Suite was nothing like she had been anticipating.

Nicole was angry because Clay had led her to believe their romance was a fairy tale. She seemed to feel hurt and betrayed that her overnight date with Clay was not going to be a celebration of their love.

Nicole woke up from the Fantasy Suite alone. She wanted to be with Clay and start a life together, but Clay needed the night to think about everything. She said it pissed her off so much because she had thought they were on the same page.

"My heart just wants to fight for him because I do love him so much and that's not going to go away over night. Ever since the beginning, Clay has made me feel like the only woman in the world and made me feel so special... He has made me so happy," Nicole said in a confessional.

Nicole then met Clay on the beach in Paradise to learn their fate, and she admittedly felt "anxious" and "sick" to her stomach.

"If I'm going to accept an engagement or accept a proposal, I need to know he is totally and madly in love with me," Nicole told the cameras.

When the pair reunited on the beach, Nicole said she loved Clay when they first kissed and she loved him now. Nicole said he had made her feel secure and hopeful, but then she asked him to look at her in the eyes and answer the following question: "Do you love me?"

"I'm not there yet. Having those feelings for me is not easy for me and it's scary... I know I'm not ready to move in together and get down on a knee right now, but I know what I want, and that's for us to take things slow and leave here together," Clay told Nicole.

"I want you. I do. When I look at you, I can see someone who could potentially be my wife... I know you want more and you deserve more."

Nicole said she deserved to be loved in return and it just didn't make sense that Clay seemed so conflicted.

Nicole therefore decided she had to dump Clay, knowing he didn't love her back. She walked away from the former pro football player in tears and left Paradise alone.

Nicole felt everything had been taken away from her in an instant, and Clay joked with his driver about how he wanted to stop at the local pub.

"I totally related to [his ex-girlfriend Angela Amezcua] now, because he had no intentions of being 100 percent serious with me. I just can't believe it," Nicole said in her final words.

The Fantasy Suite went great for Katie and Chris, but she still didn't know whether Chris would be ready to propose marriage.

Chris said he had hoped to find his "perfect person" whom he could spend the rest of his life with, and he finally realized he's "in love with Katie."

Chris had experienced so many highs and lows throughout his journey on The Bachelor franchise, but he decided to go with his gut. Chris felt he would know in his heart whether he's ready to propose in the moment.

Katie and Chris then reunited on the beach, and Katie said their time together had been ridiculous and crazy but she loved every minute of it. Katie said she could picture her life with Chris and knew she wanted to be with him the very next day.

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR' FRANCHISE COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER?? (PHOTOS)

Chris told Katie he had gone through so many battles and a lot of uncertainty, but was experiencing an entirely new feeling and called himself "the luckiest man in the world."

"You make me feel calm, comfortable. You make me feel like myself, and I feel like I haven't -- I feel like I didn't even know what that was sometimes," Chris said, as he broke down into tears.

"I'm just so happy to be standing here with you. Everything I've been looking for, fighting for, searching for aimlessly is this moment. I can't imagine a second without you. I see you in my tomorrow; I see you in my forever. And tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so I want to make this the best moment of our life."

Chris -- whose Paradise appearance was his sixth on The Bachelor franchise -- then took a ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee. Katie burst into tears, and Chris asked, "Katie, will you marry me?"

The pair embraced and expressed their love for one another. They kissed and seemed so happy, and Katie noted the moment was "perfect."

Meanwhile, Dylan called Hannah the love of his life and had no doubts in his mind that she was his person. Dylan basically fell in love with Hannah during the first week of Paradise, but Hannah was a little terrified.

She trusted Dylan with her whole heart, but Hannah acknowledged she had "a few obstacles" she was working through inside herself. Hannah wanted to be engaged to Dylan, but she also would never want to regret rushing into something too soon.

When Hannah and Dylan met on the beach after their Fantasy Suite, Dylan said he never had to fight so hard for something he wanted so badly, but he never gave up and would never give up on them as a couple.

Dylan said he could never love anyone as much as he loved Hannah, and although Paradise was ending, it was just the beginning of their story.

RELATED LINK: 'MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT' COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER? WHO BROKE UP? (PHOTOS)

"I didn't come here to spend my summer with you, but I came here to spend my life with you. And I'm ready for that life to start now," Dylan told Hannah.

In turn, Hannah told Dylan that she didn't know she deserved someone as great and he made Paradise so special for her.

Hannah said she was "so ready" to make Dylan her priority, but a part of her crumbled with her last relationship when her father had given Colton Underwood his blessing to marry Hannah -- only for Hannah to get dumped.

"I am really scared about being broken again," Hannah noted.

Dylan said since family is so important to Hannah, he'd be willing to get on a plane and travel to Birmingham, AL, that very night to meet them. But at the same time, Dylan didn't want to wait to take that next step with Hannah.

"You've shown me a love I never thought existed, and I can't leave here without showing you how much I love you. So, do you trust me?" Dylan asked.

"Yes," Hannah replied.

"One hundred percent?" Dylan asked.

"One million percent," Hannah assured him.

Dylan therefore took out a ring, got down on one knee, and said, "Hannah... will you marry me?"

"Wait, I'm shaking!" Hannah said, with her mouth dropped open.

Dylan reminded Hannah that she needed to give him an answer, and so she calmly replied, "Yes, yes!"

Hannah called her ring "so pretty" and hugged Dylan tight.

And finally, the big day had arrived for Demi and Kristian. Demi knew she loved Kristian because she had broken down a lot of her walls for Kristian. No matter how many times Demi had tried to push Kristian away, she never left, and so Demi wanted her for the rest of her life.

Demi, however, still felt pressure and worried she wasn't going to be enough. Demi went as far as to say Kristian was "too good" for her. She didn't think she deserved anyone great before and wondered why someone so amazing would want to be with her.

"I'm worried I'm going to mess this up. That scares me, like, thinking about disappointing her," Demi said in a confessional.

But when Kristian and Demi reunited on the beach, they were all smiles. Kristian noted getting engaged to Demi would be "a dream come true," but she feared Demi wasn't on the same page.

Kristian said she supported Demi on her journey to find herself, and while it was a risk to let her go to Paradise to begin with, facing obstacles only made them stronger and she was in love with Demi.

Kristian promised to protect Demi's heart "now and forever," and then Demi commended Kristian for being so patient with her.

"I came here to find myself, but I found myself in you," Demi said, before breaking down into tears. "I love you so much, and I am so in love with you. And I didn't even think it was possible to feel this way about someone."

Demi therefore presented Kristian with a ring and got down on one knee and proposed marriage.

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR' FRANCHISE COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER?? (PHOTOS)

Kristian replied, "Of course I will!" And then Kristian noted they needed to get Demi an engagement ring as well.

"We're working on it," Demi shared.

Demi said she never felt happier in her life and she couldn't stop smiling.

The three engaged couples then celebrated on the beach, and Chris told viewers he was "happily retired."

Bachelor in Paradise's "After the Final Rose" special hosted by Chris Harrison began right after Demi and Kristian's engagement.

The people who gathered to tell all were Annaliese Puccini, Angela, Onyeka Ehie, Jordan Kimball, Cam Ayala, Connor Saeli, Sydney Lotuaco, Haley Ferguson, Dean Unglert, Christian Estrada, Tahzjuan Hawkins, Blake Horstmann, John Paul Jones, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Tayshia Adams, Dylan, Demi, Hannah, Derek Peth, Kristina Schulman, and Mike Johnson.

Derek said John Paul's accusations against him were all "unfounded," but then Cam asked Derek directly whether he had ever hooked up with any of his Instagram followers after messaging them.

Jordan, however, interrupted and said Derek didn't need to answer that because even if he did, he's human and it's fine.

John Paul said his fights with Derek were "unfortunate," but neither guy wanted to apologize. John Paul did, however, apologize to Haley for not communicating his feelings for Tayshia better and earlier on.

When the spotlight was on Jordan, he said he had been cordial with Christian but acted on the beach "in self defense." Jordan said he was protecting himself from an elbow that was about to hit him in the face. But Mike clearly wasn't buying that.

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR' COUPLES NOW: WHO DID 'THE BACHELOR' STARS AND THEIR BACHELORETTE PICKS ACTUALLY END UP MARRYING? (PHOTOS)

Jordan said the teddy bear put up a bigger fight than Christian and he wouldn't apologize, so Christian called him "a b-tch." Harrison said he wasn't going to let the guys escalate the situation again, and their cast members commented on how the feud was ridiculous.

Tayshia then admitted she was a little annoyed with Hannah because Hannah had never told her Blake had visited her in Alabama before the show. Tayshia therefore went on a date with Blake in Paradise and got tangled in a bit of a web that she said could've been avoided.

Hannah claimed she didn't think it was a secret and she didn't want to interfere with a relationship Tayshia could've had with Blake. Hannah explained she was still hesitant over the Stagecoach details herself, and so that early on in Paradise, she was not sold on Blake.

Sydney called Hannah out for probably doing more with Blake than just talking during his trip to Alabama, but Hannah asked the girls not to make assumptions about her.

"Watching it back and seeing you say I'm a player and I'm a puppeteer and all of these things, I was like, 'You don't really know me,'" Hannah said.

"Other people were saying the same things. It wasn't just solely me," Tayshia noted. "The fact you said I 'Mean Girled' you was kind of weird because I was just being honest."

Jordan couldn't believe there were so many pre-Paradise conversations and asked future cast members to stay off social media before the show or just avoid going to Stagecoach. Cam agreed pre-show discussions compromise "the integrity of the experience."

Caelynn then spoke and admitted that while she was getting to know Connor, her heart was still a little bit with Dean. Caelynn said she had "a crazy connection" with Dean and would've regretted not taking that risk for love.

Connor said it was tough to be dumped by Caelynn and confusing at the time, but Caelynn apologized and said Dean gave her all the reassurance she needed through his return.

When asked if she's glad she left with Dean, Caelynn answered, "Very happy I did. I've slept in his van a couple nights! It's going great... I love [van life]. I'm surprised but I actually love it!"

But all was not lost for Connor because things were apparently still going well between Whitney Fransway and himself. Connor said they are still dating and hung out numerous times after the show.

The conversation then moved on to Stagecoach. Kristina revealed she and Blake dated once but decided to go their separate ways and just be friends.

"Occasionally, it was a little bit more than friends, but there was no relationship, relationship. We have a very solid friendship," Kristina shared, adding that she did not know Blake was seeing anyone at the time of Stagecoach and so she had been really hurt by his fling with Caelynn.

Kristina acknowledged "it really stung," and Caelynn said she had been talking to Dean for a couple of months before Stagecoach. Caelynn said to her knowledge, Blake and Kristina's relationship was totally over.

Blake said he knew he'd have to take bumps and bruises in Paradise for his behavior at Stagecoach. And with that being said, he joined Harrison in the hotseat.

Blake explained he didn't know how to approach Paradise given he had relations with multiple women before the show. He didn't want to act macho, like he had "notches on [his] belt," and he also didn't want to talk about other people's sex lives.

Blake said he had no intention of smearing women's names for hooking up with him and he was surprised by a lot of the anger that got thrown at him.

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELORETTE' COUPLES NOW: WHOM DID 'THE BACHELORETTE' STARS AND THEIR BACHELOR WINNERS ULTIMATELY END UP MARRYING?! (PHOTOS)

Kristina was apparently mad at Blake -- not for sleeping with someone else -- but for not telling her about it sooner, at least before their reunion in Mexico. Kristina just wanted Blake to respect their friendship.

Blake also insisted he and Hannah "just talked" during his weekend in Alabama and the pair had no set plan to date in Paradise. Blake confessed he looked really bad on the season and could see why people were mad at him.

Harrison said Blake fell from grace hard and fast, and Blake owned his faults and hurting so many people.

"I didn't know how to right things. I had apologized so many times... I didn't do anything malicious. I wasn't out there trying to hurt anybody. I wasn't trying to lead anybody on," Blake explained.

Blake then offered his interpretation on his relationship with Caelynn, saying they had talked from January to March but were at no point exclusive.

"Stagecoach happened, and then a week before Paradise, we decided that if somebody asked us, we were going to tell people. And so going into Paradise, that was my thought. She said, 'It's not a big deal unless we make it a big deal.' So I didn't go into Paradise making it a big deal," Blake said.

Caelynn said there were so many layers to the topic but she was so angry in Paradise because she felt Blake was trying to ignore her on the beach. Caelynn regretted exploding and said she had made a lot of mistakes.

"I know that you're not a bad guy, and it just sucks it has come to what it has," Caelynn said. "But I was hurt, and that's the emotion that you saw."

Blake asked Caelynn how he could've handled things differently and better because he thought everything was fine before they went to Mexico -- "as you saw," according to Blake, who was referencing the text messages between Caelynn and himself he had exposed on Instagram.

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR' FRANCHISE COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER?? (PHOTOS)

"Your pulling from text messages very carefully-selected text messages that make you look good and make me look bad, so that's not fair," Caelynn said.

Blake explained he had released those text messages because of many untrue allegations Caelynn had made against him.

"I never felt so exposed or violated in my entire life. I truly feel it's disgusting everyone has seen that sh-t. That to me is the lowest of the low," Caelynn said of the text chain.

"I knew she would get attacked for embellishing the truth... But what was hard to see was the fact that she was getting attacked for having sex. To me, that was too much."

Caelynn accused Blake of knowing all this would happen, but Blake insisted he never thought people would stoop so low.

Dean called Blake out for knowing Caelynn was going to take a lot of heat for those text messages but doing it anyways.

"This was premeditated. You were holding onto this since July. Your whole point was to discredit me, and you've done far more than that. You have discredited me in every aspect of my life," Caelynn cried.

Onyeka said Blake's actions were intentional and slut-shaming Caelynn. But Blake pointed out Caelynn had discussed his sex life with Kristina on national television.

"I knew people were going to be mad at me [for releasing the text chain], but I felt like I had to defend myself," Blake noted.

"We're kind of missing the point -- like the allegations [Caelynn] made. She said that I played her, sweet-talked her into bed and then silenced her. Those are not light allegations!"

Caelynn said she had apologized to Blake over and over again for overreacting but his decision to release their "5AM" text messages was simply the lowest of low blows.

RELATED LINK: 'MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT' COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER? WHO BROKE UP? (PHOTOS)

Blake explained that while he was owning his mistakes, no one would have realized Caelynn had made any mistakes unless he aired their dirty laundry for everyone to read for themselves.

Blake said he released those texts to show his side, but he was clearly fighting fire with fire.

Blake then started to cry, saying he never acted maliciously and was so sorry Caelynn got attacked by others. He also apologized to the rest of the cast for hindering their experiences in Paradise, at least in the beginning.

Before the show resumed, Kristina consoled Blake backstage as Caelynn cried to Dean about how Blake never actually apologized for releasing the text messages.

"Don't be sad. It won't be long. Stay strong," Kristina told Blake before hugging him.

Afterward, the reunion special shifted to Tayshia and John Paul's story.

"We had a whirlwind romance, and I think it took me by surprise. And when he told me he loved me, those are words I don't throw around lightly. I wasn't ready for that. I'm the last person to throw around an engagement or marriage," Tayshia explained in the hotseat.

"The right thing to do was just to let him go."

Tayshia, however, said she couldn't stop thinking about John Paul once she returned home. Tayshia also caught herself talking about John Paul constantly because he had made her so happy.

"Did you make a mistake in saying goodbye?" Harrison asked Tayshia.

"Yeah," Tayshia replied.

"Very much so. But then I talked to my mom about it, and I decided, 'I want to go after him'... So I flew out to Maryland... I'm a bold girl. When I got there, I was shaking. I was so nervous. I did not know what he would say, like if he'd slam the door in my face."

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELOR'S SEASON 24 CAST OF BACHELORETTES ANNOUNCED EARLY BY ABC! (PHOTOS)

Footage then played of Tayshia arriving at John Paul's house and him coming to the front door and welcoming her inside. John Paul seemed shocked to see her, but he said he wasn't mad at her because she had every right to feel the way she felt.

Tayshia explained she didn't want to lead John Paul on in Paradise but he checked off a lot of the boxes she wants in a partner.

"John Paul Jones, I want to explore things with you!" Tayshia said.

"Oh my gosh, I feel the same way! I still can't believe this is real right now," John Paul gushed with a huge blushing smile. "This is the most pleasant surprise I've ever had."

John Paul then asked Tayshia to be his girlfriend, and she yelled, "Yes, I will! John Paul Jones!"

"Yay, she's my girlfriend! Isn't she hot?!" John Paul screamed.

Tayshia and John Paul kissed when they reunited on the stage, and they both said they're very happy doing things on their own time and in their own way.

Harrison then asked John Paul if he still loved Tayshia, and then John Paul got down on one knee and recited his girlfriend a poem -- after Tayshia nearly had a heart attack, according to Harrison.

Katie was next to join Harrison onstage, but she noticeably wasn't wearing her engagement ring.

Katie said her engagement was unreal and more she ever could have asked for "at that time." She was "head over heels," but Katie was clearly speaking in past tense.

"We still have our ups and downs like every couple. That's to be expected; life isn't perfect. Communication has been hard," Katie said, tearing up. "I'm exhausted."

Katie confirmed she and Chris are still engaged but she puts in "so much effort every day."

"I love him so much but I put in so much that my tank empties, and if I'm not getting it filled, I break down," Katie explained to Harrison.

"The only way I know Chris loves me is the way he tells everyone else, not the way he shows me. I love him, but I can't speak as to how he makes me feel. And the things he said and the things he did seemed so different."

Katie said she fought for Chris and had confidence in them right up until their engagement, but she "fell in love with potential that might never come to fruition."

"I'm just praying it does," Katie admitting, choking back her emotions.

Katie needed more reciprocated effort, saying her relationship was a constant push and pull.

"I always feel like I'm complaining, but really I'm just asking for the bare minimum," Katie shared, adding that she didn't want to end things but was "conflicted."

Katie said she wanted Chris to want to make things better between them, and she hated being in such a dark place. Katie said Chris is good with his words but needs to show actions through those words going forward.

Chris was then brought onstage and explained he and Katie were taking things day by day but things had been rocky and a roller coaster. Chris didn't know what it meant to see that Katie wasn't wearing her engagement ring.

Katie reiterated to Chris what she had shared with Harrison and home viewers, and Chris agreed Katie was giving a lot and is "an extremely selfless person." Katie was hoping to watch Paradise back to see how much Chris loved her, but unfortunately, that didn't help either.

Chris acknowledged he doesn't show emotion often and it's usually Katie supporting him in their relationship. He therefore said he wanted to give her all that and more back.

"We're definitely two different speeds, but I didn't expect all this," Chris said.

But Katie said she had "never been so insecure in a relationship" and told Chris that all the time. She started to cry, saying she tried to make Chris feel so special and loved but it seemed like he didn't always want her around.

Katie said it had been tough and she was "exhausted" because she was constantly guessing how Chris felt about her. She needed someone to fill her tank, and Chris just listened intently and hugged her.

Chris told Katie she's amazing and beautiful, and he was very sorry that she felt that way. Chris said his walls were formed from failed relationships in the past but Katie made him feel like "a million dollars."

Chris promised he could be the man Katie wants him to be, and Katie said that's exactly why she continued to hold on -- because Chris showed her glimpses of how good life can be with him.

"You tell other people that you love me, but you don't act like it towards me," Katie told her fiance.

Chris said he felt his best when he's with her and all of his family and friends love her.

"I love you. I do. And I think there are so many better days ahead of us, and I want to see those days. I really do," Chris promised. "I want to be in [this relationship]. I absolutely do."

Katie therefore put her engagement ring back on and the couple kissed onstage. Harrison asked Chris to do and be better because everyone wants more from him.

Backstage, Chris admitted to Katie he was "shocked" and "blindsided" by her opening up like that in front of the world. Chris said they've had these conversations before, but then Katie pointed out nothing changes.

Katie told Chris that she looked desperate on Bachelor in Paradise, but he clearly didn't want to talk. If anything, Chris shut down and retreated even more.

The energy in the room changed once Hannah and Dylan sat in the hotseat together. Dylan owned being a smitten puppy from the beginning, and Hannah gushed about how they've been doing well.

Dylan said it was really hard watching Hannah date Blake in Paradise but she had been totally upfront with him the whole time. He called proposing to Hannah "the best decision" he's ever made.

"We talk all the time, like, 'How did this all work out for us?' But for some reason, it did. He's my person and I have a different kind of love for him that I knew existed, and that's really special," Hannah shared.

Dylan said their big update is that Hannah is moving to California so they'll be closer to each other.

The live audience then welcomed Demi and Kristian, and the girls walked out onstage hand-in-hand. Demi gushed about being so happy. She apparently recently moved to L.A. to be closer to Kristian.

Demi said she and Kristian kept things open when she went to Paradise but her heart was so conflicted that it showed her where her heart really was the whole time. Kristian said she knew how strong her feelings were for Demi once she left to go to Mexico.

"When we called you and said, 'Hey, will you come down?' What were you thinking?" Harrison asked Kristian.

"I was surprised. I didn't know what was going on down there. I had no idea how she was feeling. I went in completely blind, but I knew how I felt, and I wanted her to know how I felt," Kristian explained.

Demi said this journey was hard but also "liberating" and she no longer has to hide a part of her. Demi said there's been a lot of positivity and beautiful messages.

"I always dreamed of the day when I'd be able to celebrate who I am and celebrate love no matter which way it comes, and so I feel like I'm celebrating now!" Demi gushed.

The girls bragged about each other's great qualities and how in love they are, and Demi said they have this perfect balance and she could never envision her life without Kristian,

Demi also said Derek is an amazing person who will be in her life forever.

"I can't begin to express how thankful I am for everything he had helped me through with all of this," Demi said. "We need more Dereks out there in the world."

Kristian then asked Demi to stand up with her, and she had some beautiful words to say.

"When I met you, I was instantly captivated by you. I love your laugh. I love when you wake up throughout the night and whisper, 'I love you' and then roll over and you say, 'Forever.' I am so grateful we went to Paradise and it gave us the opportunity to grow our love for each other," Kristian said.

"I know that last day in Paradise, that was the best day of my life. And I wouldn't want to do this life with anyone else but you."

Harrison then handed Kristian a ring and Demi immediately cried and yelled, "Oh my God, no!"

Kristian got down on one knee and said, "Demi, will you marry me?"

Demi nodded her head yes because she was crying so hard and just wrapped her arms around Kristian. Now, both women have diamond engagement rings!

The Bachelor in Paradise finale concluded with Peter Weber being announced as The Bachelor star of Season 24.

"It's still hitting me right now, and I feel so grateful right now just to have this opportunity in front of me. I feel emotional right now. This is crazy; this is life changing!" Peter said.

"I have truly, my entire life, looked forward to finding my girl and that person I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with. I had the most amazing example of my parents growing up... I want that for myself... I have all the faith in the world this is going to work for me, and I know it's going to.

Peter finished Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette in third place earlier this year.

The Bachelor's new season will premiere on Monday, January 6, 2020.
