August 14th episode of 'Big Brother 3' most watched episode of the summer

The Wednesday, August 14th edition of BIG BROTHER 3, filled with intensified back-stabbing, plotting and counter-plotting as well as the veto competition, was the most watched episode of the summer and also posted its highest ratings on any night in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to final Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Aug. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network.
BIG BROTHER 3 WEDNESDAY (6.6/11, 10.58m) won its time period in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (5.1/16), adults 18-49 (4.7/13) and adults 25-54 (5.1/14), all series high demographic ratings. Compared to last Wednesday, BIG BROTHER 3 posted gains of +16% in households, +31% in adults 18-34, +18% in adults 18-49 and +16% in adults 25-54 (+16%). For the night, CBS (6.6/12, 9.91m) was first in households, viewers, adults 25-54 (3.9/11), and women 25-54 (4.9/13), and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10).
