'American Idol' finalists reportedly moved due to haunted mansion

American Idol may apparently need to book Syfy's Ghost Hunters team as its next special guests.
American Idol producers moved the tenth season's 11 remaining finalists out of the Beverly Hills mansion they have been living in on Monday after the contestants became convinced the property is haunted and insisted on leaving, TMZ reported Thursday.
The finalists -- who had moved into the property three weeks ago following the season's March 4 semifinals results show -- reportedly began believing the mansion may be haunted when the lights began flickering and they also experienced a "spooky" spider infestation a couple of weeks ago.
However, several finalists then went "over the edge" last week when they claimed to have seen a bed sheet "suddenly take on a life of its own" and float down an empty hallway, according to TMZ.
In addition, a heavy rainstorm on Sunday also reportedly caused parts of the mansion's roof to leak.
"The contestants FREAKED OUT and demanded to move... and Idol producers obliged," TMZ reported.
