Fox TV has posted a reminder on its "American Idol" Web site telling viewers of the talent competition they can only text votes via Cingular Wireless.

The move followed complaints from "Idol" viewers that their text-message votes were not getting counted, The New York Post reported Thursday.
"Idol" host Ryan Seacrest mentions several times during each night's broadcast that text messages are only accepted from Cingular customers, a Fox spokeswoman told The Post.
