The America's Got Talent judge is close to finalizing a deal with A&E for a new reality series, TMZ reported Monday.

"We are discussing a possibility of doing a documentary series with David and his kids," an A&E representative told TMZ.

In addition, Hasselhoff's 17-year-old daughter Hayley used her Twitter account last week to announce the project.

"The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A&E ..... Get readdyy for it," she wrote.

However the posting has since been removed and a Hasselhoff representative said the deal has yet to be signed, TMZ reported.

Pamela Bach -- Hasselhoff's ex-wife whom he had fought through both a divorce and a custody battle that included both accusing each other of having alcohol-related problems -- will not be appearing in the series, TMZ reported.

The 57-year-old actor was hospitalized in September for what was reported to be alcohol poisoning, however his attorney subsequently claimed Hasselhoff "was being treated for an inner ear infection and had a bad reaction to his medication."

Hasselhoff has previously admitted that he is a "recovering alcoholic."
