TLC is going to face consequences whether the network decides to pull the plug on 19 Kids & Counting permanently or continue to air episodes after a brief hiatus.

If TLC chooses to run 19 Kids & Counting again after the hype of the Josh Duggar controversy dies down, several advertisers have announced they no longer want to be associated with the show.

After a 2006 police report just recently surfaced and revealed Duggar had molested a handful of girls, including his own sisters, about 12 years ago, Choice Hotels International, General Mills and Payless have opted out of being a part of his family's long-running reality TV show.

Choice Hotels and General Mills both confirmed Tuesday on social media they've decided to pull advertising from all future episodes of 19 Kids & Counting, according to the Hollywood Reporter, while Payless revealed they're taking the necessary steps to follow through with the same course of action.

Choice Hotels explained their move on Twitter by saying they have "the same concerns" as fans of the show who are bothered by Duggar's past.

Meanwhile, Walmart disclosed on its official Facebook page they're continuing to monitor the situation.

TLC released a statement Friday to the Hollywood Reporter regarding the status of 19 Kids & Counting in light of all the chaos surrounding Duggar.

"Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids & Counting currently from the air. We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time," the network said.

Duggar, now 27 and married with three children, has repeatedly expressed his apologies to the public, saying he had "acted inexcusably" and is deeply regretful.

19 Kids & Counting premiered in 2008 and is currently in its 15th season. The fame of the Duggar family has risen in recent years due to their unusual style of courtship in addition to numerous marriages and pregnancies.
