Simmons, well known for the tongue-wagging, face-painted demon persona he portrayed in Kiss, and Shannon Tweed, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year, have been happily UNmarried for 23 years and have no plans of getting married anytime soon.  But they do have two charming, well-behaved kids together, who are dealing with the standard trials and tribulations of adolescence while at the same time having parents like no one else's.

Seventeen-year-old Nick is currently a senior at Wildwood Secondary High School in Los Angeles, where he rocks the classroom, particularly in literature, humanities and science.  He hopes to produce his own illustrated novel as a senior project, enjoys girls and the macabre, is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has also done voiceover work for Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken, his favorite show.  His sister, 14-year-old Sophie, is a ninth-grade scholar/athlete at Wildwood, where she plays volleyball and excels in the classroom.  Sophie also enjoys drama, snowboarding, swimming, riding her horse Pablo and writing music.

Robert Sharenow and Didi OHearn are the A&E executive producers. Gene Simmons Family Jewels is produced for A&E  by The Greif Company/A Day With, Inc and the Gene Simmons Company. Gene Simmons, Leslie Greif, and Adam Reed are the series executive producers.
