"If I have already signed with you it will be done. If I have not, I will not be available until mid March for anything. I will be undergoing surgery and will be down at least a month."

Ashley did not disclose any additional details about the upcoming surgery in her posting, and said she will not be sharing as much health information with her followers going forward.

"Fans, all I ask for is prayers. I will not be sharing much information about my health any longer, my willingness to overshare came with nothing but scrutiny and backlash," the 90 Day Fiance star wrote.

"I need to focus on my health, family, and recovery for that month. I appreciate all who support me very much #90dayfiance #tlc #healthcomesfirst"

While Ashley did not disclose the reason for the upcoming surgery, it is likely related to her recent hospitalization with kidney failure caused by her lupus.

After being found unresponsive in her home on January 13, Ashley was hospitalized and treated in the ICU because her battle with lupus had "put her into kidney failure" that could result in the need for a kidney transplant.

In an Instagram posting on January 15, Ashley revealed she had undergone surgery in which doctors placed a catheter in her abdomen to serve as the access site for peritoneal dialysis.

"Doctors are hopeful that dialysis will be temporary and that it will aid in helping her kidneys repair themselves... Please continue to pray that this works and that Ashley will not need a kidney transplant. Either way Ashley will be down for quite some time," the January 15 posting stated.

The following day, Ashley confirmed in an Instagram Live video she expected to go home the next day and probably wouldn't need a kidney transplant after all.

"So far, things are going better than expected. It looks like I won't need to go on a [kidney] donor list or anything," she said, later adding, "It's looking like dialysis is the only treatment I'll need right now."

Ashley was subsequently released from the hospital on January 17 and returned home.
