"Michelle and I are very happy to report that little Josie is being released from the hospital today," said the 19 Kids and Counting stars in a Tuesday statement.

"And while we have plenty of practice bringing babies home, this time is very different.  To be on the safe side, we'll stay nearby in Little Rock for the short term, with the entire family returning home to Springdale in the near future."

Josie Brooklyn Duggar was delivered via emergency C-section at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and weighed 1 lb., 6 ounces when she was born in December.

"We are deeply grateful to the staff at Arkansas Children's Hospital," read the statement.  "And as always, thank you for the continued prayers and support. "

While Michelle was not due until early March, she was taken to the hospital to have a gallstone removed. The pain from the gallstone caused Michelle to have early contractions, leading to the early arrival of her nineteenth child.
