Married at First Sight star Amber Bowles says hearing Matthew Gwynne had cheated on her during their short eight-week marriage was "devastating."

The night before "Decision Day," Amber's best friend Raven claimed he had spotted Matt at a bar with another woman one night and the pair looked "very focused" on each other.

"They left together?" Amber asked Raven before breaking down into tears.

"Yeah," Raven replied, "and it didn't look good."

During an appearance on the latest Married at First Sight: Unfiltered episode on Wednesday night, Amber watched back the Season 9 clip in which Raven had broken the news to her Matt may have been cheating.

"How did it feel hearing that news?" Unfiltered host Jamie Otis asked Amber.

"It's just devastating," Amber replied. "This news is devastating."

"When you sign up for Married at First Sight, you think you're going to be matched with someone who is as passionate about marriage as you are," Amber continued.

"Like, why couldn't he tell me this Day 1 -- that he wasn't into this and he wasn't going to be willing to work on it?"

Amber's Married at First Sight co-stars Elizabeth Bice and Gregory Okotie appeared on the Unfiltered broadcast as well and offered their opinions on the clip.

"If I could squirrel kick him right now, I would," Elizabeth said.

After Jamie let out a laugh, she asked Greg how he felt about the news Matt may have left a bar with another woman while being married to Amber.

Jamie wanted the male perspective on Matt's behavior, but Greg replied, "Yeah, but we're all human."

"So the fact he's cheated on her during this experiment is unacceptable," Greg explained.

Elizabeth then added, "If I were you, Amber, I would have taken his phone and ran it under water while he was asleep and put it back on the charger like nothing happened, like, 'I don't know [what happened], that's so weird it stopped working!'"

Amber laughed at Elizabeth's comment and joked, "I really regret not calling Beth."

Amber and Matt ended up both agreeing to get a divorce on Married at First Sight's "Decision Day" episode, which aired immediately after Unfiltered on Wednesday night.

Not only did Raven allegedly catch Matt flirting with a woman and leaving a bar with her one night, but Amber also revealed to the Married at First Sight experts one of her teacher friends at school claimed Matt had been texting a girl and asked her out on a date.

Amber alleged Matt asked out the second woman in question via text while Amber and the former pro basketball player were driving to see his childhood home earlier in the Married at First Sight process.

Like Amber and Matt, Keith Manley and Iris Caldwell also divorced on "Decision Day" -- but Keith was the only person in the relationship who wanted to call it quits after eight weeks of marriage.

Two couples, however, left the experiment happily married: Elizabeth and her husband Jamie Thompson as well as Greg and his wife Deonna McNeill.

The Season 9 reunion special for Married at First Sight is set to air next week on Wednesday, September 18 on Lifetime and feature updates on the current status of each relationship.
