The party drew unknown amateur heroes such as MonkeyWoman and Fat Woman, competing for a spot on the show, The San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The initial installment of "Superhero" consists of six one-hour episodes, during which costumed contestants live together in a house presenting their best superhero concepts until famed comic book creator Stan Lee winnows the group down to one winner.
The winner of the "Superhero" competition will be rewarded with a comic book of his or her unique hero drawn by Lee, and a corresponding original Sci-Fi Channel movie, the Chronicle said.
