Girardi says her "I don't want it to be an engagement ring" reaction to boyfriend Kasey Kahl presenting her with a promise ring during Monday night's episode of Bachelor Pad was not because she doesn't want to marry him but because she didn't want her engagement to play out on TV again.

"For me, I don't want a TV engagement again. I want that to be our engagement, ours alone," Girardi, who was previously engaged to former The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love star Jake Pavelkatold Access Hollywood Live during a Tuesday appearance on the radio show.

Although her prior engagement to Pavelka publicly fell apart, Girardi said she has no doubts her relationship with Kahl will eventually progress to the next level.

"We're gonna get married one day, we're gonna get engaged," said Girardi, whom Pavelka proposed to during the show's March 2010 season finale after rejecting fellow The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love bachelorette Tenley Molzahn.

In addition, Girardi asked disgruntled Twitter users to stop sending her and Kahl tweets, insisting what they see of the couple on Bachelor Pad is not a true reflection of who they are as people.

"Don't send us nasty mean comments, it's entertainment," Girardi added. "Just sit back and enjoy it. We're not bad people. Nobody on the show's bad."
