American Idol's coverage of the competition's eleventh-season Hollywood Week Round began with Wednesday night's broadcast on Fox.
However, the American Idolbroadcast -- which was taped and not live -- appeared to run past its scheduled conclusion time for unexplained reasons, resulting in many DVR users missing its dramatic cliffhanger moment in which 16-year-old Symone Black appeared to faint and fall offstage after performing her rendition of Otis Redding's "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay" for the judges.
