VH1 to debut 'Tough Love: Couples' reality series on April 12

VH1 has announced Tough Love: Couples, a spinoff of its Tough Love reality series, will premiere Monday, April 12 at 9PM ET/PT.

Tough Love: Couples will follow matchmaker Steve Ward and his mother JoAnn as they help five couples contemplating marriage strengthen their relationship via a "tough love boot camp" focusing on everything from sex and temptation to money and communication.
Once the eight-week boot camp is over, Ward will decide on whether he feels the couples are right for each other -- however it's ultimately up to them to decide if they want to take his advice.
The eight-episode reality series is being produced by Drew Barrymore's Flower Films production company and High Noon Entertainment.
