Dancing with the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy has revealed if he's retiring from the show after winning Season 32 with Xochitl Gomez and what's next for him and wife Jenna Johnson.

Rumors have been swirling that Val may retire from Dancing with the Stars in order to go out with a bang after his Season 32 victory with the 17-year-old Marvel star, but according to Val, that's not happening.

Val, 37, and Jenna, 29, conducted a Q&A session with their followers via Instagram Stories on Saturday, December 9, and one person asked Val if he'll be returning for Dancing with the Stars' 33rd season, according to Us Weekly.

"This is so funny. We have had so many people ask us, well ask Val, if he's retiring this season," Jenna chimed in, sitting next to her husband. "Do people know something that we don't know, Val?"

Val quickly replied, "I don't know, [but] no, I'm not retiring. What is that? I would love to be back if the show brings me back. I'll be there."

Jenna speculated that the retirement rumors got started because she had a very emotional reaction to Val's final dances with Xochitl on the finale, which aired on December 5.

"I think there was a video that people maybe thought meant something. There's a video of me sobbing like a baby after Val and Xochitl's foxtrot from the finale," Jenna explained.

"I think maybe people were like, 'Oh, she's so sad. It's his last time dancing,' but I think we'd both love to be back if Dancing with the Stars had us next season."

Fans may also have been worried about Val's status since Cheryl Burke and Mark Ballas both recently retired from the ABC reality dancing competition.

But it appears Val and Jenna aren't going anywhere, especially since they had a phenomenal time participating in the latest season of Dancing with the Stars.

While Val and Xochitl were crowned champions, Jenna competed with supermodel Tyson Beckford.

Val and Tyson, however, were eliminated during "Motown Night" in Week 3 of the competition.

Shortly after the Dancing with the Stars finale, Val told Us that he'd jump at the chance to return as a professional partner next season.

"I would [come back]. Listen, if they had me back, I'd love to be back. It's going to be a tough season to follow," Val said.

Val said it felt "great" to win the first-ever Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with Xochitl.

Not only did their win pay homage to Len -- who passed away following a battle with bone cancer in April -- but it apparently felt special to the pro dancer.

"This one feels a little different. It's been seven years since I was able to be lucky enough to win and to win it with this young lady -- man, she carried us all season," Val gushed. "She made me look great as a teacher [and] as a partner."

But Xochitl pointed out, "That goes both ways. You can't really know how to really do any of this unless you have someone who really understands you. So you really understood me, [Val], and you did all the dances that had my personality in it. And I think that's what's important."

Val concluded that it was also "amazing" to win Dancing with the Stars after welcoming a son, Rome, in January, especially because it was a challenge for him and Jenna to try to maintain a good work-life balance.
