"Richmond, Virginia - I love you guys," Val says in a video apology posted onto Instagram Tuesday.

"I unfortunately can't be there at the show tonight. As all of you know, I'm expected to be an uncle very soon."

"My sister-in-law Peta Murgatroyd is literally delivering the baby as soon I'm done with this video, hopefully. But I'll be back on the road tomorrow and somehow I promise to make it up to you, Richmond. Thank you so much and enjoy the show," he continued.

In the caption for the clip, the "Dancing with the Stars" star alum added, "Love y'all and appreciate you understanding. I'll make it up to you."

Murgatroyd's due date for her son with Maksim was reported to have been on Monday.

The couple teased the arrival of their baby on social media sharing a photo of the mother-to-be putting on makeup as she prepared for the birth while on a hospital bed.

Maksim, 36, and Murgatroyd, 30, announced they were expecting their first child together in May after they got engaged in December of 2015.
