TLC has announced Table for 12, a new Jon & Kate Plus 8-like reality series that will follow Eric and Betty Hayes and their 10 children, will premiere Monday, March 23 at 10PM ET/PT.

Following its debut, new half-hour episodes of the series will air in its regular Mondays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot.

Table for 12 will follow Eric, Betty and their 10 kids -- 12-year-old twin boys Kevin and Kyle; 10-year-old twins Kieran and Meghan; and 4-year-old sextuplets Tara, Rachel, Ryan, Connor, EJ and Rebecca, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

The series will document how the family tackles daily life while also enjoying special occasions ranging from birthday parties to bowling trips.

"There is an ongoing fascination with large families," said TLC programming executive Nancy Daniels. "The Hayes family is truly inspirational and the strong bond they share as they tackle everyday obstacles as a large family is captivating to watch."

TLC is already home to Jon & Kate Plus 8 and 18 Kids and Counting, two reality series that follow families consisting of a large quantity of kids.

Last month, TLC president Eileen O'Neill confirmed that several production companies affiliated with the network had contacted Nadya Suleman -- the controversial California mother who gave birth to octuplets in January despite already having six previous children -- about the possibility of developing a reality series.
However due to vocal viewer reaction, the network subsequently decided against pursuing a new series starring Suleman.
