The Voice eliminated Lynnea Moorer and determined the fifteenth season's Top 10 artists during Tuesday night's live results broadcast on NBC.

The "Comeback Stage" artist this season, Lynnea, an 18-year-old from Monterey, CA, was ousted from the The Voice instead of DeAndre Nico, a 22-year-old from Port Arthur, TX, who was the other artist in the bottom two based on home viewer votes cast following Monday night's Top 11 performance show.

Lynnea performed on behalf of coach Kelly Clarkson's team on The Voice, while DeAndre will continue to represent Adam Levine's team going forward.

After the two artists sang a survival song last night, America tweeted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep DeAndre in the competition.

On Tuesday night, Lynnea kicked off the elimination format by singing "Tattooed Heart" for her survival song.

Kelly called Lynnea her "fighter" and said she loved her, not only as a vocalist, but as an artist and what she represented on this show.

DeAndre then followed that up with a performance of "Take Me To the King."

Coach Jennifer Hudson was so moved that she threw her high heel at the stage, which The Voice viewers have learned is a huge compliment.

"DeAndre, when you sing a song like that, you sing with a purpose, and every single word, I could feel it," Jennifer gushed, adding that he definitely deserves to stay in the competition.

Adam then asked viewers at home, "Does it feel right for this guy to go home?"

The audience responded with a loud, "No!"

Adam therefore continued, "I'm really, really shocked he's even being considered one of the bottom, because I think he's one of the top, and he deserves to be in the finale!"

"If you can help this guy make it through this night, I'm going to bring this guy all the way to the finale because he deserves to be in," Adam concluded.

Home viewers then had a short five-minute window to vote for Lynnea or DeAndre to stay on The Voice via Twitter.

At the end of the final commercial break, the vote was 81% in DeAndre's favor, compared to 19% of the votes that had poured in for Lynnea.

Before The Voice host Carson Daly announced the results, Lynnea and DeAndre both thanked their individual coaches for guiding and supporting them.

Lynnea attributed her "vibe" to Kelly, and then DeAndre thanked Adam for being "real" and telling him to "keep pushing" and always be himself.

The coaches also had one last moment to pitch why their team members should stay.

Kelly explained Lynnea is so much fun to work with and she's one of her favorite team members ever, and then Adam insisted DeAndre shouldn't go because he's an incredible talent and he definitely wouldn't disappoint fans next week if he sticks around.

Carson revealed the final set of results at the end of the night, and DeAndre was instantly saved.
