The Bachelor star Ben Higgins insists he was blown away by the caliber of bachelorettes this season, but that's a little hard to believe from a viewer perspective.

There is undoubtedly a batch of women who have a lot to offer Higgins this season, but Bachelor Nation has tweeted about how "the nicest Bachelor ever" got some "crazy" candidates. Even former The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman wrote Higgins might need to take out a couple restraining orders.

With that said, two women also break Higgins' heart this season -- one of whom, Lauren "LB" Barr, already walked out on him during the most recent episode. On top of that, Higgins will also deal with a big liar, In Touch Weekly reported in its January 18 issue.

A bachelorette who makes it far into the process allegedly had a serious boyfriend back home the entire time she was on the show.

"Ben had no idea," a source told In Touch. "She leaves the show still having a boyfriend."

Higgins discovered the news while filming The Bachelor's twentieth season, which currently airs Monday nights at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
