The Bachelor star Ben Higgins admits his dynamic with Lauren Bushnell only improved after she voiced having insecurities to him.

During Monday night's episode of The Bachelor, Bushnell expressed her fears to Higgins about getting hurt on a group date in Las Vegas. The blonde flight attendant was falling in love with Higgins but became hesitant to completely put her heart on the line considering he had strong connections developing with so many other women.

A sweet Bushnell asked Higgins how she could feel confident when there are "amazing" bachelorettes she's up against.

"I know from my time on The Bachelorette -- and even in the first couple of weeks here as The Bachelor -- how hard it can be going from a great one-on-one date to a group date setting. It's really, really difficult going from feeling like there is no one else in the world but you two to being one of a group again," Higgins wrote in his People blog.

"So having such a meaningful conversation with Lauren B. really stood out to me. It just showed me that it wasn't just a great first date that we had. It was the start of something special and I wanted to make sure she knew I felt that way."

Higgins did everything he could to convince Bushnell she wasn't going anywhere and his feelings for her were growing and genuine.

"Lauren B. and I did not miss a beat in that transition," Higgins added.

It's no surprise Higgins was smitten with Bushnell at this point in the season. When she first stepped out of the limo on Night 1, Higgins admitted she took his breath away and was basically God's answer to his prayers.

And when the couple enjoyed a one-on-one date, Higgins wrote in his blog he had to stop himself from moving too fast with Bushnell. The Bachelor said she was so easy to be around and had "a wonderful energy" about her -- not to mention he couldn't stop looking at her because she's so beautiful.
