The Bachelor season is coming to an end, and according to a sneak peek of the finale, fans can anticipate a big surprise on After the Final Rose.

In a new preview clip released for The Bachelor's live three-hour finale event on Monday, March 13 beginning at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, there will be drama, tears, love and "a Bachelor first!"

"I've been here before," Nick says in the clip as he stares at the beautiful Neil Lane diamond engagement ring. "Both [Andi Dorfman] and [Kaitlyn Bristowe] broke my heart. My biggest fear is that that will happen again."

Nick's Final 2 bachelorettes, Raven Gates and Vanessa Grimaldi, are then heard expressing hesitation about a potential future with the 36-year-old businessman and former software salesman from Wisconsin, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

"I do have doubts," admits Raven, a 25-year-old Arkansas boutique owner.

"There's just something that's not sitting right," notes Vanessa, a 29-year-old special education teacher from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

When Nick seems to have his mind made up on which girl should be his future wife, he questions her commitment.

"I'm just, like, torn up inside," he continues. "The worst feeling I've ever felt before. What if she says no?"

The promo then jumps to a teaser for The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special, which typically features interviews with the happily-engaged couple and the jilted runner-up seeking closure from the show's star.

"And then, After the Final Rose is live with a 'Bachelor First,'" reveals a voiceover in the preview clip.

"A Bachelor first" could mean many things, but one thing is for sure -- it's a twist the show's executive producer Mike Fleiss promises to be epic.

"Monday's live season finale is going to be historic!!! Believe me," he tweeted on March 8.

While viewers are speculating Nick will break up with the woman he picked or be dumped by her, it's also very possible the twist has nothing to do with Nick or his bachelorettes at all.
