Olivia Caridi's behavior is up, down and all around on Ben Higgins' The Bachelor season.

Up until Las Vegas, Caridi was nothing but confident, mature and a sophisticated conversationalist, all of which highly impressed Higgins -- enough at least to snag the First Impression Rose and a group-date rose thereafter.

But as feelings grew and competition amongst the bachelorettes increased, Caridi lost her edge and insecurities began creeping up on her. She cried to Higgins about her ugly toes and cankles, and then during a Las Vegas group date, Caridi performed an awkward Showgirl routine she feared she had "mortified" Higgins. As a result, she unnecessarily kept apologizing to him.

"Olivia is hard to figure out. On the one hand, she seems totally self aware in knowing that her dance went badly, but then she seems to not know, or not care, that the other women are ready to take her out. We appear to be at a point of no return for Olivia," The Bachelor host Chris Harrison wrote in his Yahoo! TV blog.

So far this season, the women are constantly annoyed with Caridi because she approaches alone time with Higgins selfishly and aggressively. She also tends to rub her connection with Higgins in the girls' faces.

Higgins even admitted he "started to feel the tension in the group" between Caridi and the women the night of the Las Vegas group date at The Mirage.

"[I felt it] especially with her interrupting [Emily Ferguson] to have a second conversation with me. It was also the first time I had seen Olivia anything less than poised and confident," Higgins explained in his People blog.

"And I don't mean that as a bad thing, because I appreciate her ability to be more open and vulnerable with me. I just wish she could've believed me when I told her that I was not embarrassed at all and was actually proud of her."

"Following the cocktail party last week, I felt like we were kind of misfiring with each other on this group date. But everyone has off nights, and it's part of growing together so I wasn't reading too much into it."

Once it became time for Monday night's cocktail party at the Aria Sky Suites in Vegas, Harrison said "once again," it was Caridi vs. the group.

"Now, though, everyone will be asking, 'What's going to happen next week in Mexico City?' As you saw, something big is going to happen between Olivia and the other women, and Ben is finally going to hear about it," Harrison added.
