ABC has announced The Bachelor's nineteenth season will begin with the first-ever live-premiere event hosted by Chris Harrison and guest host Jimmy Kimmel. With a studio audience and past fan-favorites present from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchise, Harrison will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Soules' daily life and the women vying for his heart.

After the live event, the season's first broadcast will start with the 33-year-old farmer and wealthy businessman from Arlington, IA, arriving at the Malibu mansion -- which he will live directly next to this season -- and being introduced to only 15 bachelorettes.

These bachelorettes will include a woman who gives him a bear hug, a country girl wearing "Daisy Dukes" and cowboy boots, a secret admirer who doesn't allow Soules to see her until he can find her later, a girl with a strange profession and medical cooler that holds a surprise, and a six-foot tall striking blonde who rides up on a motorcycle in her gown and biker boots.

In an unusual twist, Harrison will tell Soules to start the party with his 15 bachelorettes. When the girls believe the night has wrapped and one lucky lady will receive the first-impression rose, Harrison lures Soules away to meet 15 additional bachelorettes. The first group is horrified to witness the entrances of so many more beautiful women to the point where one contestant almost has a meltdown.

The bachelorette to finally receive Soules' first-impression rose will not see it coming.

A long, stressful night will conclude with the nineteenth season's first Rose Ceremony during which "Prince Farming" must hand out coveted roses to 22 women, sending the rest packing. While one bachelorette barely makes it through the night, another woman will pull Soules aside "for what will be one of the most dramatic twists in Bachelor history," according to ABC.

The adventurous dates that will test the women's courage and spontaneity are as follows: Six women competing in a tractor race in their bikinis; 11 bachelorettes competing in a paintball shootout on an "apocalyptic" playground featuring zombies; a Jimmy Kimmel-planned date involving a greased pig and hot tub; six bachelorettes challenged to a grueling mud run while wearing wedding dresses in San Francisco; a white-water rafting group date in Santa Fe, New Mexico; and a hot-air balloon ride for a female who's afraid of heights.

Some of the more simple, romantic dates this season will include a Cinderella-inspired ball planned by Soules' sisters for one deserving bachelorette; an appearance from country singers Big and Rich in Deadwood, South Dakota, who will entertain Soules and one lucky bachelorette with a private concert; and a Friday night football game at Soules' high school in his hometown for one special bachelorette.

The hometown dates will be filled with "emotions and revelations," according to the network, and when the Final 3 bachelorettes travel to Bali for their romantic overnight dates, more "shocking surprises" await an unsuspecting Soules.

The Bachelor is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Alycia Rossiter serve as executive producers.
