The Amazing Race will be returning to CBS with an all-new season in early 2022, and the network has announced the premiere date.

The new season will once again be hosted by Phil Keoghan.
During the show's upcoming 33rd season, teams of two will embark on a trek around the world, hoping to arrive at the final destination in first place and claim the $1 million prize.
Following its debut broadcast, The Amazing Race will move to its regular timeslot of Wednesday nights from 9-10PM ET/PT beginning on January 12.
CBS made the announcement when unveiling its Winter/Spring 2022 schedule for new and returning scripted, alternative and specials programming.
Phil, Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman, Elise Doganieri, and Mark Vertullo serve as executive producers for The Amazing Race.
The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Worldrace Productions in association with ABC Studios and Amazing Race Productions.
The Amazing Race's 32nd season concluded in December 2020 with "Dating Couple" Will Jardell and James Wallington winning the $1 million grand prize and then getting engaged at the finish line during the finale episode on CBS.
The Amazing Race's 32nd season wrapped filming in December 2018, long before the global coronavirus pandemic began in early 2020.

Season 32 of The Amazing Race was initially scheduled to premiere in May 2020, but CBS ultimately decided to delay and push back the season until Fall 2020 once the pandemic hit and the production of television shows -- including Season 33 of The Amazing Race -- was disrupted.

CBS also revealed Celebrity Big Brother will air a new season starring a house filled with celebrities beginning in early February 2022, followed by the premiere of Survivor's 42nd season in early March.
