The 8-year-old daughter of Australia's beloved Crocodile Hunter is shooting her own television debut in the form of a wildlife series for kids.
Bindi Irwin's 26-episode series "Bindi, The Jungle Girl" will debut in January on the Discovery Kids cable network.
People magazine said that "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin will appear in the series in the form of segments that were taped before he was killed by a stingray's barb in a freak diving accident on the Great Barrier Reef last month.
Bindi has become a veteran in front of the camera despite her tender age. People said she gave a "moving tribute" at her dad's memorial service, and was a presenter at this month's Nickelodeon Australian Kids Choice Awards 2006.
