Spencer Pratt has confirmed that he is shopping an alleged sex tape featuring himself and Heidi Montag, his soon-to-be former wife, to porn companies.

"I've been making films since I was in the 7th grade," Pratt told Us Weekly on Friday. "I'm looking forward to people seeing my directorial debut!"

Pratt's confirmation follows an earlier Friday report in which Vivid Entertainment -- the same porn company which recently released a home sex tape of The Girls Next Door and Kendra star Kendra Wilkinson -- had said it was in talks to acquire a Montag sex tape from Pratt.

"I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag," Vivid president Steven Hirsch told TMZ.  "We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal."

On Thursday, Pratt announced plans to write a tell-all book about his relationship with Montag, who moved out of the couple's home in May and filed for divorce in July.

Montag later threatened legal action over Pratt's book plans.

"This is exactly why I left him... Right now I'm looking into my legal options," she told TMZ.

Pratt and Montag wed in April 2009.
