So You Think You Can Dance eliminated Miranda Maleski and Robert Taylor Jr. and determined the eighth season's Top 14 contestants during Thursday night's live results show on Fox.

"I've been thinking about trying out for the show since the first season. It's incredible being on that stage and having people cheer for you. It's the best feeling I've ever felt in my life. I can't even explain what it's like to be on this stage and that you guys have given that to me when I didn't even think I was going to get past Vegas is amazing," Miranda told So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley following her ouster.
"Just that I'm standing here now, I can't -- I have no words. I'm just so grateful for everything and you guys, you're all amazing. I love you all and you guys are all fantastic. You're all unbelievable dancers, and you're all going to do amazing in the rest of the upcoming weeks. I love you guys."
"When I'm onstage, I don't feel alone. I feel like I'm taking the people with me. Always believe in yourself. No matter how many times you get knocked down, it's all about getting back up. For one thing, I just want to say that I enjoyed myself with all of these wonderful people down here -- everybody -- the audience and all my fellow contestants. I didn't even see this as a competition. I saw this as a growth and a friendship," Robert told Deeley after his elimination was announced.
"I just hope to spread the message of love and peace like one of my idols did up there... make sure you put a big smile on your face. Each and every day you wake up, just be thankful for whatever you have and take that and own that. Once last time, I want to hear everybody at home, here, everywhere! Can I get a wooooo! God bless you guys. Thank you so much."
Ashley Rich, a 22-year-old contemporary dancer from Antioch, CA who currently resides in Emeryville, CA and her partner Chris Koehl, a 21-year-old hip-hop dancer from Garland, TX, along with Caitlynn Lawson, an 18-year-old contemporary dancer from Moses Lake, WA and her partner Mitchell Kelly, a 20-year-old contemporary dancer from Chicago, IL who currently resides in Atlanta, GA were the other two bottom-three vote-getting couples still in danger of elimination during Thursday night's broadcast, but they were saved by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.
So You Think You Can Dance's fourth eighth-season performance show will air on Wednesday, July 6 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the 14 remaining finalists performing for home viewer votes.
So You Think You Can Dance's next one-hour eighth-season live results show will then air on Thursday at 8PM ET/PT, featuring the elimination of one more male and one more female finalist.
