Rosie O'Donnell's feud with U.S. real estate mogul Donald Trump has spilled over onto the set of "The View" via an argument with her co-host Barbara Walters.

People magazine reports O'Donnell allegedly confronted Walters on set recently and verbally assaulted her for not strongly denying allegations Trump had made that she regretted hiring her for "The View."

"Nothing could be further from the truth," Walters said on a Jan. 3 "View" episode. "I have never regretted, nor do I now, the hiring of Rosie O'Donnell."

While O'Donnell has maintained that Walters should have said Trump was lying, a representative for "The View" claimed that Walters has remained fully supportive of her co-host and they have put the issue behind them.

"From the first day Rosie spoke about Donald Trump, Barbara has been nothing but supportive of Rosie," the representative told People. "Whatever happened in the hair and makeup room was only a squabble. It's business as usual. Everyone has moved on."
