Randy Jackson now has a divorce on his hands.

The American Idol mentor and former judge's wife of 18 years, Erika Jackson, has filed for divorce from the big "Dawg," TMZ reported.

Erika reportedly filed the divorce documents citing irreconcilable differences and wants full physical custody -- and joint legal custody -- of their 17-year-old son Jordan. The couple also has an adult daughter together.

In addition, according to the website, Erika is asking for spousal support and requesting the music producer pay her attorney's fees.

This was Randy's second marriage. He has one other daughter from his previous marriage.

Randy announced in May 2013 he had decided to leave American Idol after 12 seasons. He served as a regular judge on the panel since the reality singing competition debuted on Fox in 2002.

According to reports, Randy quit Idol before producers could fire him.

Executives allegedly planned to drop Randy as part of Season 12's judging-panel shakeup in which they had signed on Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban as new judges. However, Randy received a last-minute reprieve when negotiations with Latin artist Enrique Iglesias fell apart.

The show's thirteenth season then received another revamp in attempt to reverse the dramatic television ratings decline the show's twelfth season had experienced with Carey and Minaj on the panel. Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. judged the show's most recent edition, and Randy was moved to a mentoring position for all the contestants.
