Nikki Reed and 'American Idol' finalist Paul McDonald get married

Nikki Reed's publicist has confirmed the "Twilight" actress married singer Paul McDonald in Malibu, Calif. during the weekend.

About 100 guests attended the ceremony Sunday at a private ranch.
"We couldn't be happier!" the newlyweds said in an exclusive statement issued to UsMagazine.com.
"[We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We're so glad this day has come!"
Reed met McDonald, a contestant on Season 10 of "American Idol," last March.
They announced their engagement in June, the celebrity news Web site said Monday.
