Nick said he "choked" before dancing the foxtrot with Peta. As fans may recall, he stumbled with the choreography halfway through the routine and appeared to start laughing with anxiety.
"Last week was okay. I don't know if you saw on the monitors, but I actually stopped literally in the middle of the dance, and I'm just glad I recovered," Nick admitted. "But that's why I got some of the mixed reviews from the judges."
Nick therefore probably needs to take a few deep breaths, concentrate, and not put so much pressure on himself.
Nick also recently revealed it helps when his The BachelorfianceeVanessa Grimaldi is sitting in the audience when he dances. The former software salesman said the Canadian beauty is "very supportive" and he "definitely feels more comfortable" when she's present in the ballroom.
Moving forward in the competition, Nick said in the video: "I just need to chill out a little bit. Tonight's going to be a big night."
"Hopefully by the time you see this, Peta and I will have knocked it out of the park and we'll kind of rewrite this season and we'll see," Nick told his fans. "If not, I might be going home pretty early."
