After completing two stints on The Bachelorette, appearing on Bachelor in Paradise 3 last summer, getting engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi on The Bachelor this year, and competing in seven weeks of competition on Dancing with the Stars, Nick is finally ready to give reality TV a rest -- or so he says.
"I have no plans right now" for more reality television," Nick told Entertainment Tonight after the show. "Right now, I'm focusing on launching my business... And obviously I'm with Vanessa, and that's what I'm focused on right now."
Nick said Vanessa "is always calming" in light of his hectic schedule and "always supportive." After all, Nick revealed to reporters he had to get out of his comfort zone and really challenge himself on Dancing with the Stars. He had to triumph over his nerves and take risks.
In a separate interview with E! News, Nick elaborated on what's to come in the near future professionally and personally.
"I'm launching my grooming line next Tuesday, May 8, so I'm excited about that. It was happening either way. So that's going to continue to take up a ton of my time," Nick said, promoting his upcoming line of grooming products called The Polished Gent.
"And Vanessa and I, we're going to keep doing our thing. I mean, Dancing's over, that's a bummer, but I'm really looking forward to the future and definitely spending more time with the business and with Vanessa."
During "A Night At the Movies Week" on Monday night, Nick and Peta finished in fifth place on the judges' leaderboard with 34 total points after performing an Argentine tango set to David Guetta's "Dangerous."
Vanessa sat in the audience every week and cheered her man on.
The Dancing with the Stars judges complimented Nick's improvement on the show and apparent confidence, which he was lacking in the first several weeks of the competition.
"I think Peta and I were kind of hoping to squeeze in one more week, but we knew it could be our last week," Nick told E! News.
"Now that it's over it's sad. I had such an amazing time with Peta. She's a fantastic partner; we had fun all the time. It's definitely a bummer to see it end."
